Bad Names : Margo

Margo was established by Aneta Martínková, who gathered material for her first LP during a university internship in the United States. In studio, she collaborated with producer Tomáš Havlen (Spomenik, post-hudba), a well known name on the Czech alternative scene. During live performances, Aneta is joined onstage by Táňa Lvovská (vocals, piano) and Vláďa Švestka (drums).

Famous female singer-songwriters such as PJ Harvey, St. Vincent, Bat For Lashes or Fiona Apple have been Aneta’s all time inspirations, however, she adds that she enjoys music from across a great variety of genres.

The upcoming album is intended a collection of stories of people Aneta came across during her American study trip. And Bobby is one of them. The song tells a story of his struggles and retells his defeated contemplations about life – Bobby is a mid-life crisis guy who just doesn’t know how to speak with people who love him.

Here is her Facebook, Bandcamp and YouTube.
